3 years 4 month

This has been a very fun month where. I got to do a lot of new things and it was very exciting. For the most part I have just been strengthening my skills that I have. I love reading and can't wait until I a can do it all by myself. Mom has been helping me and she just got me a new movie to help me out. I can read/spell Renee, Mom, Dad, and Rozi. But those names aren't in many places so Mom is helping me learn more. I am also learning to write my letters and those words. I can write my name out but that is all the letters I know. Dad had been working with me on this but we haven't had much time lately to do it. Hopefully we will be able to do that again soon.

I am also learning to swim with Mommy. I use just arm floaties but sometimes Mom takes me in without them and I practice holding myself up with her help too of course. I really can't wait until I am able to swim all on my own then I will be able to go more often.

I got to go the Long Beach Aquarium this month for the first time and that was a lot of fun for me to see ALL those fish. I wanted to see a pink fish and I looked the whole time we were there and just before we left I got to see it. I was sooo excited to actually see a pink fish. they were so pretty. We celebrated 4th of July this month too although this was my 4th year it was still a ton of fun! We first went to Hannah's birthday party, then to Uncle Brads for BBQ and swimming, and finally to the Rancho Santa Margarita Lake for Fireworks. It was a fun a day!

I also got to go the Discovery Science Center with Grandma, Daddy, Rozlynn, and my cousin Christian. I got to learn how all sorts of things work, play in some Dinasaurs, pretend to be a Park Ranger. It was a great time. Here are a few pictures from there.

Renee 3.4

3 years 3 month old

I know I am way late but what can I say I have been super busy. I have been having so much fun being 3 that I don't have as much time as before to stop and chat. Although I do have much more to say now. I love to play with my dolls, dress up, and anything make believe. If I can tell a story I am happy. I have a few pretend friends that I play with too (their names change often).

I can spell my name and write it out for you, although sometimes I write it backwards are just all over the place...but what can I say I am just being creative right. I can also spell DAD and MOM. I am learning to spell Rozlynn. I am also learning my address (Mom wants me to learn this just in case I ever get lost).

Dad is still home taking care of me and I really like him being home. I would like Mom to stay home with me too. Mom and Dad are fun to play with and I want to do that more often. Maybe someday they can both stay home with my. But in the meantime it is fun and different to have Daddy here with me.

I am learning to do a lot more things on my own. Sometimes Mom says that I have to have help even when I don't want it. She also keeps telling me that I am not old enough to make all the decisions but I think I am and I can make great choices. She still tells me no and I have to do what she say because she is the boss. Sometime she asks me who makes the rules and I tell her God does but that doesn't work because she then tells me that he says to obey your Mother and Father so I still have to do what she tells me. I guess someday I will be able to make the rules but until then things are a lot better is I just do what I am told!

3 years 2 months old

I am having so much fun being three! I am able to do more things on my own (or at lease I want to but M&D wont let me yet). I just love to play with someone or by myself it doesn't really matter much as long as I am playing. I enjoy being outside and inside. Since I don't have a whole lot new to report I thought I would quickly go through a day as me...

I wake up (time change every day anywhere between 6-8)
I watch a TV show on the Smiles of a Child network (Free Christian TV digital channel 40-5)
I play around the house (sometimes on with Rozi)
I will eat lunch
After lunch it is straight to bed for my nap (sooo sleepy by now usually 12:30-1:00)
After my nap (3:00-5:00) I will sometimes do school work with Daddy or just watch a movie til Mom gets home depending on what time I got up.
We eat dinner when Mom gets home from work.
I play a little more (or some nights take a bath)
Then to bed I go (sometimes tired sometimes not but not the less in bed I stay)

Easter

I know I am a little late in getting this posted but at least I am doing it right!

I got to celebrate Easter for a whole week and it was soo much fun! I started the week before Easter with going to the Spring Fling in RSM with our church. I got to do an egg hunt, tractor race, and a huge blow up obsticle course. I had so much fun. And just before we left I rode the pony that was so much fun too!

Then Easter weekend we went to the park with Mom's family to celebrate the day. We did another egg hunt, played games, rode the train, and rode a horse again! Grandpa BBQ'd for lunch it was great. Sunday morning I got up to a mess left by the Easter bunny in the hall. He left a trail of Jelly Beans to my basket that was hidden in the corner behind the bookshelf. After that we got ready for church. After church we went to have Easter Dad's family at Grammy & Pop's house. We did another egg hunt and just hung out for the day. It was a nice and easy day.

3 years 1 month Old

It is so crazy to think I am still getting older. I just love it! I get to learn new things everyday. There aren't really any new and different things I am doing just getting better at what I already do. Mom and Dad just crack up at all the things I am learning and some of the things I say. They say I am so smart and are surprised at the responses I have. I love to read books, watch movies especially for "Family Movie Night", play games, and just be 3!

I love being potty trained and not having to worry about diapers. I don't use them at all anymore even for bed time. I am all done without a single accident! SO MUCH FUN!!!

Mom has been working now for a few months and I am getting used to the new routine with Dad (I think I say this every post). He does a great job and I am glad to have him to hang around with. He is GREAT dad! We still both have some learning to do but I am sure that we will survive until the day Mom gets to stay home with me again. Until then I hang out with as much as I can when she is home.
